Creating groups is an important step in keeping your Address Book organized. With clear and specific groups, it's easier to find the contacts you want to message.
Before you create groups and add contacts, we recommend that the number of contacts per group not exceed your monthly automated message allowance.
Create a group
When in the Address Book, click the Groups button to open the dropdown menu.
You'll see the options to create a new group OR create a new group from selected contacts (great option if you message the same contacts regularly). You must preselect contacts in the Address Book to create a group from selected contacts.
Name your group and add contacts. You do not have to add contacts at this step, but it is a convenient way to get a group started. Make sure you hit Save to officially create your group!
Delete a group
Be aware: Deleting a group will not delete contacts from your Skipio Address Book.
When in the Address Book, find the existing group in the Groups tab. Click on the group you would like to delete. It will then be highlighted blue.
Click the Delete Group button. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm your actions. If you'd like to proceed, click OK. That will delete the group. Once a group has been deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
Again, deleting a group will not delete contacts from your Skipio Address Book.
