Import Contacts Into Your Skipio Account

Manually import contacts or use a CSV file to add a large list of contacts into your address book

Manually add contacts

Select the fourth icon from the navigation bar on the left side of the page. When you hover over it, it will say Contacts. Click to open the Address Book.

When in the Address Book, select Add Contacts ▼ to view the upload options. To manually add a single contact, select New Contact.

The side panel opens for you to enter all of the contact information you have. Make sure to hit save!

This contact will now be visible in your Address Book.

Upload contacts with a CSV

After selecting Add Contacts ▼, choose Upload Contacts.

Click to select a CSV file to upload or drag a CSV file into the upload area. Check the boxes of the columns you want to import into Skipio.

Match the column headers. For the upload to work, you need to at least have a First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number. It must be a mobile phone number in order to send text messages to that number.

After hitting continue, you have the option to add these contacts to an existing drip messaging campaigns and/or groups.

By adding these contacts immediately to a drip messaging campaign, they start receiving messages from you based on the schedule and delays in the selected campaign.

By adding contacts immediately to a group, you can easily organize and keep track of specific lists.

After hitting Skip or Continue, review all of your selections above. Make any final changes before starting the upload.

When you're confident the information is all accurate, select Start Uploading and you'll see the progress bar of your contacts uploading. Do not navigate away from the page until you see the confirmation that contacts were uploaded successfully.
