Add a "text us" button to your website to allow people to text you directly.
Skipio’s Web2Txt feature allows visitors to your website to text you directly! Start talking with leads immediately and provide faster customer service with Web2Txt.
Create your widget
First, click the circle in the bottom left-hand corner and click Web2Txt in the menu that appears.
From there, click (+) on the top right side of the column to create your custom webchat widget.
Start by naming your widget. This name is for internal use only and will not be seen by anyone clicking on the widget. It's purely there to ensure you can identify your widget.
Next, fill out your header and bubble text. Your header text and bubble text will be shown on your widget, so choose language that will get people to click on it. As you can see in the example above, we prompt people to text us!
Then, choose the color of the widget. This color will appear as the header background and button background. If you have brand colors, you can type in the hex code.
Next, upload your avatar and logo in the associated fields. For the avatar, we recommend using a photo of someone on your team. People like to know that they are texting a real person, so show them your face! For the logo URL, it's best to use a simple and clearly identifiable logo.

Finally, you can choose to have contacts automatically added to a campaign. That way, anyone who texts you from your widget will automatically start receiving messages from you. This is huge for starting conversations and keeping people engaged.
However, this step is optional. If you do not want to immediately text people who fill out your Web2Txt widget, do not select a campaign.
Finish your widget
A live preview of your widget appears in the lower right corner so that you know exactly what it will look like. Once you have everything set how you want it, click save.
After saving, the embed code will be displayed for your Web2Txt widget. Copy this embed code and paste it into your website anywhere inside the <body> tag.
